"We tread our paths so easily, Now worn quite smooth by other feet, We scarce will deign to look
upon The rougher paths, which may ours meet. So we forget that our smooth way Was once as
rough and hard as these; That many traveled painfully, That we might travel on in lease."

CAREER DESIGN WITH SIGMA KAPPA
Join Sigma Kappa and Career House to design the career
you long for! We are partnering with career strategists
Lauren Moffatt and Lindsay Boccardo to guide and inspire
you this fall, with a full program coming in 2021. Watch
your email and Sigma Kappa's social media for more!
THE WALK IS EVERYWHERE
Sigma Kappa is widely known for our support of Alzheimer's
disease research. In 2019, Sigma Kappa chapter
teams participated in 228 different Walks across the
country with more than 13,000 team members! Due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, this year the Walk to End Alzheimer's
is not restricted to a particular path, town or city. If you are
a Sigma Kappa sister who lives in an area where there has
not been an organized Walk, we encourage you to join any
Sigma Kappa team and participate remotely.
Register here, select Sigma Kappa as your national team
and join any Sigma Kappa team, near or far. Then, on your
team's assigned day, simply carry the flag the Alzheimer's
Association will mail you, wear your letters and feel
connected. See your local Walk website for more details
about the phone app that is available as well as other ways
to engage in the event.
IT'S COMING 1874 MINUTES OF GIVING!
The Sigma Kappa Foundation is excited to announce the
second annual 1874 Minutes of Giving, beginning on
November 9 at 1:46 p.m. EST. All proceeds benefit the
PULSE Annual Fund, which supports all Sigma Kappa
Foundation initiatives including emergency grants for sisters
in need, DEIA initiatives and other emerging needs of our
sisterhood. We hope all sisters will consider making a gift
during this event to help us reach our goal. If you are
interested in creating a challenge to help increase our
fundraising efforts and the resulting impact, contact Rachel
Flanigan by October 1.
