"You cannot know what a convention really is until you have experienced one. The business sessions, the people,
the good times, all are a part; and above all the thrill that comes from the realization that here are Sigmas from all
over the United States, met for a common purpose. Then you catch your breath at the bigness of it all, and say to
yourself, 'I'm so glad that I'm even an insignificant part of this wonderful whole."
- Melva M. Mann, Alpha

INCLUSIVITY STATEMENT FOCUS GROUPS
Sigma Kappa Sorority is creating an inclusivity statement and would like feedback on our sample
statements. We are looking for 10 collegiate members and 10 alumnae members to serve
on focus groups in May to review the proposed statement and offer insight into the role of an
inclusivity statement in our organization. Interest is due April 29 at 11:59 p.m. EST. If you
have any questions, please email hbeatty@sigmakappa.org.
