With the support of our sisters around the country, we have made a huge difference for House Higher Education Act those suffering from and impacted by Alzheimer's disease. Each month a Saving? new book will be suggested, along with a few other options. The book club will offer discussion questions throughout the Sigma Kappa Triangle month, and we encourage members to participate regularly Winter 2018 - in reading and responding. A STRATEGIC FUTURE FOR SIGMA KAPPA BOOK CLUB Strategic Plan In early 2017, Sigma Kappa laid out its Strategic Plan for the READS next three years. Focusing on making Sigma Kappa a leader March: "Ordinary among sororities, empowering our collegiate members and People" by Judith chapters, and providing alumnae with opportunities for Guest, Alpha Mu continual growth, this plan is a bold commitment to helping our members Live with Heart. Hate Me" by Deborah Staff Restructure In fall 2017, Sigma Kappa contracted with an association Halverson, Beta Psi management company to make recommendations on May: "Homegoing" appropriate staffing levels and new positions for efficiency by Yaa Gyasi and effectiveness at NHQ. One of the most significant changes is the addition of senior director level staff Join the Club positions (communication, membership strategy and operational strategy). These positions work with the executive director to ensure the strategic plan is being put STAY into action. Additional positions on other teams will be CONNECTED added as the budget allows. HOW WE MADE IT THROUGH 2017 was a tumultuous year, and between natural disasters, travel bans, protests, and mass shootings, Sigma Kappa members were challenged like never before. Sigma Kappa seeks to help our members by showing our support and providing monetary assistance through the Sigma Kappa Foundation. Living with heart means committing ourselves to each other and to the causes we believe in, and embodying our values of personal growth, friendship, service and loyalty in everything we do.
