Why are you proud to be a Sigma Kappa?Sigma Kappa has prompted me to be a better person. When I think of leaning back and maybe being lazy later in life I realize what I can pass on in life lessons and how I can help young ladies as I wish I had had help when I was younger.Share your favorite moment from your time as a Sigma Kappa undergraduate member.Unfortunately I never was an undergraduate SK member. I'm an alumnae initiate so I feel like I got the best of both worlds sometimes. I didn't have to worry about all the fees and dresses and required activities of undergraduate membership, but I get to take advantage of the lifelong sisterhood. What is your favorite Sigma Kappa memory? My favorite SK memory is singing in the choir at convention. It was then that I realized what the sisterhood truly meant. As an alum initiate I never learned all the songs week after week so my best friend said to join the choir at convention and they give you the words. But in being a part of the group and singing the songs I truly felt like I belonged.Identify any individuals mentioned or depicted.Without Teri Centner being my roommate in Redondo Beach, CA all those years ago I don't know if I ever would have joined this wonderful sisterhood.Tell us about the materials you are sharing and how they are related to your Sigma Kappa experience.I've always loved math and numbers and being a VPF for alum chapters, and now FINA and CPC have just made the experience of being a part of SK that much better.
