Why are you proud to be a Sigma Kappa?Sigma Kappa is near and dear to my heart. I have always wanted to be a part of a sorority since I was young, however when I was exploring organization non of them seemed like a good fit. Then a friend asked me to go to a recruitment event for Sigma Kappa and immediately when I walked in the room I knew I was home. It is because of this that I feel so much pride in being a Sigma Kappa and to have been able to bring the diversity to my chapter, as the first Black member.Share your favorite moment from your time as a Sigma Kappa undergraduate member.I would say my favorite memory is sharing an apartment with four of my other sisters our senior year. We were able to bond in so many ways. What is your favorite Sigma Kappa memory? My favorite SK memory would be the Las Vegas convention. It was here that my eyes were opened to the Foundation in a whole new way and I became quite close to Lisa Swointeck. Spending the time I did with her sparked so much for me in terms of volunteering that it lead to so many more memories.
